What We Treat
Most dental emergencies, handled today
If something is wrong, call. Even if you are not sure whether it is an emergency, we will tell you on the phone whether you need to come in today.
Severe Toothache
Throbbing pain, sensitivity to hot or cold, or pain that wakes you up. We diagnose the cause and stop the pain same-day.
Broken or Chipped Tooth
Fractured front tooth, cracked molar, sharp edge cutting your tongue. Same-day repair with composite, crown, or onlay.
Knocked-Out Tooth
Best chance of saving a tooth is within 1 hour. Call us on the way. We will walk you through what to do while you travel.
Lost Filling or Crown
Tooth feels rough or sensitive after a filling or crown came loose. We replace or temporarily restore same-day.
Abscess or Infection
A dental abscess usually stems from untreated cavities, cracked teeth, or gum disease. It requires immediate dental attention, as it will not heal on its own and can spread.
Emergency Extraction
Emergency tooth extractions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are generally necessary when there is severe pain, trauma, infection, or loose teeth.

The most common question on emergency calls is “how much will it cost?” Here is what to expect. Final price depends on what we find on exam.

“Broke a molar Sunday night, called Monday morning, was in a chair by 10 AM. They explained the cost before doing anything. Genuinely the easiest dental visit I have had.”

“No insurance and was nervous about the cost. They walked me through the Smile Assurance Plan, signed up, paid less than I would have at three other offices I called.”

While You Travel to Us
Dental first aid: what to do right now
Quick steps for the most common dental emergencies. Call us first. We will walk you through these on the phone if needed.
01
Toothache: Rinse with warm water. Floss to dislodge food. Cold compress outside the cheek. OTC pain reliever as directed.
02
Knocked-out tooth: Hold by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently if dirty. Place in milk. Get to us within 1 hour.
03
Broken tooth: Save the pieces. Rinse your mouth and the pieces in warm water. Apply a cold compress to the cheek.
04
Lost crown: If painful, dab clove oil on the exposed tooth. Slip the crown back on with dental cement from a drugstore.
